We are looking to share our knowledge and experience with anyone interested in applying for an internship.  If this sparks your interest, please e-mail us at josh@vbrecordingarts.com to receive an application.  Once completed, sent back, reviewed, and approved, we will schedule your interview.  VBRA is a learning environment for all backgrounds that fosters curiosity and stands behind the exploration of new ideas.  We help each other to that effect, and when this energy spreads through the community, everyone wins.

About the Owner

Josh Haddad

Born and raised in Virginia Beach; a passionate drummer, guitarist, and bassist, and creative type; Josh earned a Recording Arts degree from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL in 2009 after graduating from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Psychology.  In 2009, he became a Certified Operator through Avid for Pro Tools in both Music and Post.  After school, he moved to Chicago and worked for one of the city's best studios: Rax Trax Recording; a place where people from all walks of life go year-after-year for top quality recordings and atmosphere.

After Rax Trax, Josh continued in Chicago climbing the ranks of the hotel AV world, eventually handling high profile events for prominent keynote speakers, including Peyton Manning, Hillary Clinton, George W Bush, Hu Jintao, and Jane Goodall to name a few.  During this period, Josh played drums in the band 'Jack ex Rabbit' and married his wonderful wife, Rachel, all the while never stopping the passion to record along the journey.
